The Berlin Bilingual School Pfefferwerk gGmbH (BBS) is operated by the shareholders Berlin Kids International eV and Pfefferwerk Stadtkultur gGmbH.
The BBS is represented by its management.

Berlin Kids International e.V. [BKI e.V.] is an association run by a board of elected members (four minimum). Association membership consists largely of parents of students but it is open to anyone involved or interested in the school. As one of two stakeholders of the Berlin Bilingual School gGmbH, BKI e.V. is responsible for ensuring that the school’s educational concept is upheld and its mission statement is supported.

Association meetings are central to communicating important updates about the school, parent work group reports, current work being done by the board, and garnering feedback from members.

Pfefferwerk Stadtkultur gGmbH is an organisation providing children, youth and social inclusion support across Berlin. With around 1,100 staff, the organisation develops and delivers innovative programmes in nurseries and schools, in the field of educational support, as part of career guidance and vocational training, and through community work. Pfefferwerk stands for education that provides equal opportunities, social participation and vibrant neighbourhoods. Pfefferwerk’s facilities offer children, young people and families the freedom, support and protection they need to shape their own lives.
Pfefferwerk Stadtkultur gGmbH is a shareholder in Berlin Bilingual School Pfefferwerk gGmbH. Pfefferwerk Stadtkultur gGmbH also operates two primary schools and one secondary school.
