Our dynamic and growing school in the heart of Europe’s most vibrant city invites speculative applications for consideration for teaching posts within our primary and secondary schools.
The Berlin Bilingual School is a thriving independent German/English primary and secondary school with 370 students and 60 members of staff from a wide range of countries. We believe in an inclusive and innovative approach to providing education to mixed-age groups, and being open to people of all income levels. Our school also enjoys a high level of parental involvement, helping to foster a community spirit amongst parents, students and pedagogical staff alike.

Under Berlin state law we are only able to employ:
Teachers who hold a university degree in primary/elementary school education and/or their QTS qualification. Without this qualification we are unable to offer any position, regardless of the applicants' experience. Qualifications such as TEFL or CELTA teacher are not adequate.
Educators who have a relevant qualification in early childhood/nursery education. Without this qualification we are unable to offer any position, regardless of the applicants' experience.
Data privacy
Applications (either electronically or in writing) of potential BBS staff may be stored up to three months upon receiving. Any extension of the length of saving of the application needs prior approval of the applicant. Background checks may be conducted on all applicants who pass the first interview successfully.
